My husband and I spend a considerable amount of time in the backcountry seeking out rivers for fish to catch, as well as wildlife to photograph. We spend most of our time in Utah and Idaho where fish, wildlife and bugs are plentiful. We used the bug spray in Canada this past week. It worked very well on the mosquitoes and black flies. They hung around but did not bite. Had to apply again if I sweat a lot but that was ok. I found myself spraying my hat not worrying about the effects on fabric. And the smell was refreshing. I kept it in the cooler so the mist was cool in the hot sun.

"Hello Real Earth,

Just a follow-up on your great product (bug spray). I field tested it for the first time yesterday on one of my favorite streams in Mass., the Swift River in Belchertown, Mass., which is a tail water fishery that is bottom fed from the Quabbin Reservoir. We affectionately call the walk from the car along the paths to each pool on the stream MOSQUITO and DEER-FLY ALLEY! I fished for seven hours yesterday without one bite of any kind (bugs that is). There were plenty of critters around because of all the rain we have been getting, and they were buzzing about the face and hands in swarms on their usual inspection flights, but none hung around very long. It was just great not having to wash your hands before rigging up! You will be getting some phone calls from at least four or five of my friends to order this stuff.
